FirstChoice – Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution seeks experienced Registered Nurses for part-time, flexible travel assignments across the system. Roles involve floating to multiple hospital locations and regions, with care grounded in standard nursing practice and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in applicable states of practice.
• 18+ months recent clinical experience for Med/Surg, Telemetry and PCU.
• 2+ years recent experience for Critical Care, Surgical, Maternal, ED and Behavioral Health.
• Maintain specialty credentials (ACLS, TNCC, etc).
• BLS, ACLS and PALS obtained through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout hospital locations and regions as needed.
• Provide nursing care following standard professional practice.
• Act independently within license and scope of knowledge.
• Delegate, make clinical decisions, and ensure quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support quality improvement.
• Adapt to new responsibilities and changing priorities.

What you will do:

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions
• Knows, understands, incorporates & demonstrates standard elements of professional practice: Assess, Outcomes Identification / Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate
• Acts independently & appropriately within license, scope of knowledge & experience in practice area
• Retains accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes
• Collaborates with key stakeholders & contributes to quality & improvement practices & outcomes
• Exhibits agility & willingness to take on new & additional responsibilities
• Embraces new ideas & cultural differences while managing competing priorities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Required to have and maintain the credentials required per their specialty area (ex: ACLS, TNCC, etc).
• BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association
