Job summary

MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center in Iowa is seeking experienced RN staff for FirstChoice mobile staffing roles with premium pay and flexible scheduling. You may float across hospital units and locations, supporting diverse patient needs in a fast-paced system.

The role requires an RN license, 18+ months in Med/Surg, Tele or PCU and 2+ years in other specialties such as Critical Care, Surgical, Maternal, ED or Behavioral Health. ACLS/PALS/BLS credentials are required by AHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Required to have and maintain the credentials per their specialty area (e.g. ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association.
