Job summary

Trinity Health's FirstChoice mobile staffing program seeks experienced RNs for part-time night shifts at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center, IA. RNs will float across hospital units and regions, delivering care within licensed scope while maximizing premium pay and schedule flexibility.

Opportunities include travel/per diem arrangements, diverse practice settings, license/certification reimbursements, and a 403(b) retirement option.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in applicable state(s).
• Minimum 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties (CC, Surgical, Maternal, ED, Behavioral Health).
• Credentials required per specialty (ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions.
• Apply standard nursing practice: Assess, Identify Outcomes, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Act independently within the licensed scope of knowledge and experience.

Employment Type: Part time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift Description: Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking for premium compensation and maximum flexibility? What you will do:

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions
• Knows, understands, incorporates & demonstrates standard elements of professional practice: Assess, Outcomes Identification / Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate
• Acts independently & appropriately within license, scope of knowledge & experience in practice area
• Retains accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes
• Collaborates with key stakeholders & contributes to quality & improvement practices & outcomes
• Exhibits agility & willingness to take on new & additional responsibilities
• Embraces new ideas & cultural differences while managing competing priorities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Required to have and maintain the credentials required per their specialty area (ex: ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association
