Job summary

Trinity Health Muskegon is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for FirstChoice - Trinity Health’s mobile staffing, offering premium pay and maximum scheduling flexibility. RNs may float across hospital locations and regions, with travel and per diem opportunities available.

The program requires state RN licensure, 18+ months clinical experience in Med Surg/Tele/PCU (and 2+ years for other specialties), and required credentials (ACLS/TNCC, etc.).

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice.
• Minimum 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience for Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, ED and Behavioral Health.
• Credentials required per specialty area (e.g., ACLS, TNCC).
• BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions.
• Apply professional practice elements: Assess, Outcomes Identification, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Required to have and maintain the credentials required per their specialty area (ex: ACLS, TNCC, etc).
• BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association

** Only for nurses coming to Michigan from out of state, over 60 miles from home to hospital.
