Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Procedural & Surgical IMCU (4HH East) on a 14-week assignment.

The role offers a day shift with a pay rate of $75.00/hr and is temporary full time with no benefits. Candidates should have 2+ years of acute care RN experience and VA license (or compact), plus BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification.

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Procedural & Surgical Intermediate Care Unit (4HH East)

Sentara Heart Hospital - Norfolk, VA

• $75.00/hr pay rate

Department Overview:

This 24-bed cardiac surgical/procedural IMCU provides care to pre and post cardiac surgery patients to include: bypass surgery, cardiac valve repairs/replacements,thoracic surgery/lung diagnostics, and other cardiac based procedures and treatments such as ablations, left atrial appendages, ICDs, and permanent pacemakers. The unit also provides a high level of care to patients with cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, and chest pain.

• Dedicated to high quality care, patient outcomes, safety, and teamwork is a standard of the staff
• Nurses handle 3-4 patients on this unit based on acuity level. At times, RNs could be up to 5 patients depending in staffing

Education
