Job summary

Centurion Health, based in St. Joseph, MO, is seeking a Full-Time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Western Reception Diagnostic Classification Center.

The RN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Requirements include Associate's degree, RN license, CPR certification, and willingness to travel across Missouri per contract.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one.
• Minimum of two years RN experience.
• Must travel throughout Missouri per contract.
• CPR certification required.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• Must be 90+ miles from designated facility.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, Nursing Supervisor and multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Western Reception Diagnostic Classification Center located in St. Joseph, Missouri. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.

The Travel Program RN will work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Missouri, per contract needs. Each assignment will be restricted to one location. The RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Registered Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient.

• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.
