Requirements

• Active RN License
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS Certification

• Additional requirements to be determined by the client facility

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, signs, and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes; utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members; document actual and potential nursing diagnoses
• Document the patient's plan of care, including nursing diagnoses, expected outcomes, and interventions
• Initiate and evaluate patient and family education
• Revise and document the care plan based on evaluations and medical changes
