Overview

Registered Nurse - PACU located in Saint Helena, California. This travel assignment starts on November 9, 2026 for a 13-week engagement in a short-term acute care hospital setting. Earn a weekly pay range of $2,334 to $2,415 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Schedule is day shift on a 5x8 pattern, with hours per the site notes: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This assignment is managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or patient group in the PACU using established standards and the nursing process.
• Monitor post-anesthesia patients, manage vitals, administer medications, and respond to clinical changes or complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other disciplines, and evaluate patient progress.
• Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across levels, delegating duties and ensuring safe, effective care delivery.
• Provide patient and family education, participate in discharge planning, and document care thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with the care team to maintain a safe, healing environment and promote continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

• Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (state of practice)
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or ARC-ALS; PALS as applicable
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in the field
• Education: BSN preferred
• Additional: Epic EMR experience required; ability to work in a PACU within an acute care setting
