Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Operating Room travel assignment in York, Maine. The 13-week contract starts 10/12/2026 with guaranteed hours and travel support. Work four 9-hour days (6:45 am–4:15 pm) Monday–Thursday plus on-call in an acute care orthopedic OR setting.

Active RN license with BLS/ACLS is required; experience in circulating and scrub roles is preferred. Enjoy dedicated travel support and collaboration with a multidisciplinary perioperative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for orthopedic procedures, including circulating and scrub roles as needed.
• Prepare the operating room, ensure sterility, and assist the surgical team with instrumentation and equipment.
• Monitor patient status intraoperatively, document events, and communicate changes to the team.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort, follow sterile technique, and manage all perioperative phases.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgeons, and support staff to maintain efficient case flow.
• Demonstrate professionalism in call coverage and respond to intraoperative changes as required.
