• Monitor patient status across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases; administer medications as ordered and maintain sterile technique and environment
• Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at varying levels during cases, and coordinate care with anesthesia, surgeons, and other disciplines
• Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent discretion to ensure patient safety, comfort, and high-quality outcomes
• Document care, routines, and patient responses accurately; communicate clearly with the care team and families as appropriate
• Respond promptly to intraoperative changes or emergencies and participate in post-operative care planning and rehabilitation planning as needed

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Perioperative or operating room nursing experience preferred
