Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care is working with a hospital in San Antonio, Texas to hire Oncology RNs. For more than 40 years, we’ve specialized in helping nurses find the assignments that best fit their current needs and long-term career goals. Oncology RN Contract Details:

  • 13-week contract with possibility to extend
  • Basic duties include: assessing patients, monitoring vital signs, and administering cancer treatments
  • The RN will be responsible for managing the side effects of cancer treatments and helping patients manage pain
  • The Nurse will be responsible for explaining the treatment to the patient, being a source of information as well as emotional support
  • *Estimated weekly payment may include both taxable wages and tax-free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals. Please speak with a recruiter for details.

Requirements:

  • Current Texas Nursing License
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • 2 years of recent Oncology nursing experience
