Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse for a NICU travel assignment in Pennington, New Jersey. The 8-week shift runs 7:00 PM–7:30 AM in a Level III NICU with Cerner EMR, and includes every other weekend and holiday.

Requirements include active NJ or compact-state RN license, BLS and NRP, and at least 2 years of NICU experience. Travel benefits and guaranteed 36 hours per week are offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in NJ or a compact state.
• BLS and NRP certifications.
• Minimum 2 years NICU experience.
• Prior travel experience preferred.
• Ability to work Night shift in a Level III NICU.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to neonates in the NICU according to individualized care plans.
• Monitor neonatal status, including vital signs and daily assessments.
• Administer medications and therapies as ordered, and coordinate with the medical team on treatment plans.
• Document care accurately in the Cerner EMR; ensure meticulous charting and compliance with clinical standards.
• Collaborate with neonatology, respiratory therapy, infection control, and family-centered care teams.
• Support families with education and discharge planning while maintaining a safe NICU environment.

Overview

Registered Nurse – NICU travel assignment in Pennington, New Jersey, starting 11/09/2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,042–$2,132 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM. This assignment takes place in a Level III neonatal intensive care unit with 12 intensive care bassinets and an additional 15 Level II bassinets, using Cerner as the EMR. Travel nursing program managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.
