Job Description – Registered Nurse (RN)

A minimum of 3 years of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience is required

Must be proficient in reading Telemetry (competency will be assessed on day one)

Epic EMR proficiency is mandatory

Start Date: Please note that unless the RN is a returning Genesis traveler within the past 9 months, the only available start date is July 21st.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The primary assignment will be on the Respiratory unit, which admits COVID-19 patients. The RN may also be required to float occasionally to various Medical-Surgical units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and Emergency Department/Med-Surg boarders.

Position Details

Schedule: 36 hours per week

Shift: Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

On-Call Requirement: None

Requirements

Active RN license in the state of Ohio

Current BLS certification

Refresher training or 1:1 support will not be provided; proficiency must be clearly documented in referral information

Please Note

Failure to pass the Telemetry competency test or provide proof of Epic proficiency will result in immediate termination.
