Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in a Georgia inpatient long-term care setting. The 13-week engagement begins 11/16/2026, with nights in 12-hour blocks (36 hours weekly) and a pay range of $1,631–$1,704 per week.

This is a travel position with no guaranteed hours. You will provide direct patient care, monitor conditions, administer therapies, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans, while meeting credentialing

Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license in good standing.
• Knowledge of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the ANA Code of Ethics.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in an inpatient setting.
• Experience in inpatient acute or long-term care preferred.
• Ability to meet credentialing and onboarding requirements for travel assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process in an inpatient setting.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer meds and therapies per orders.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop care plans.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Educate patients and families to support informed decisions and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process for adult patients in an inpatient setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications and therapies per orders, and respond to changes in condition promptly
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans and communicate with patients and families
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record; maintain accuracy, privacy, and regulatory compliance
• Educate patients and families to support informed decisions, discharge planning, and ongoing self-care
• Uphold professional standards in line with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the ANA Code of Ethics; maintain patient safety and infection control practices
