TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care (LTC) for a travel nursing job in Boone, Iowa. This position is a 13-week assignment, traveling with a 37-hour work week, and the shift is 8 hours in the evenings. Employment type: Travel.
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor residents' conditions and report changes promptly
- Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs in daily care activities
- Provide wound care, catheter care, and other skilled nursing procedures
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and social workers
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in care plan meetings and family conferences
- Document nursing care and resident progress accurately and timely
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
- At least 1 year of RN experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
- Current BLS certification
- Eligible for State licensure
- ACLS and additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
