Location: Webster County Community Hospital, Red Cloud, NE

Shift: 12-Hour Days | Every Other Weekend | 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week

Start: Flexible (Orientation can begin any day of the week)

Facility Type: 43-bed Licensed Long-Term Care & Skilled Facility

Charting System: PointClickCare

Housing: Will be discussed with the facility. Reliable transportation required—no public transit available.

Job Description

Webster County Community Hospital (WCCH), a critical access hospital with an attached rural health clinic, is seeking an experienced RN to join its long-term care unit. This role involves delivering quality resident care, supervising support staff, and contributing to a compassionate, team-oriented care environment.

Unit Details

• Average census: 25–27 residents
• No designated memory care or assisted living units
• Day Shift Staffing: 1 RN, 1 Med Aide, 2 CNAs, 1 Bath Aide, 1 Restorative Care CNA
• Night Shift Staffing: 1 RN, 1 CNA (Additional CNA 6–10 PM as available)
• Medication: Bubble packs via medication carts (IV fluids administered at hospital)
• Communication: Pager system
• Equipment: Sit-to-stand and Hoyer lifts
• Occasional rare blood draws may be required
  
  

Requirements

• Active RN License in Nebraska or Compact State
• Minimum 2 years of recent LTC RN experience
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association only)
