WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Winchester, New York.

Job Description & Requirements

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Winchester, MA. Travelers can earn up to $2,566.8 per week for this role.

Job Function

  • Night Shift.
  • 3x12: 7pm - 7am.
  • Assigns patients to the appropriate level of classification based on assessment.
  • Applies external fetal monitors and accurately interprets fetal heart tracings and uterine activity.
  • Initiates appropriate interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal status during labor.
  • Recognizes and responds to emergency situations, considering patient age, and promptly notifies the provider.
  • Administers medications in accordance with the "five rights" of medication safety and infection control protocols, or as directed by the provider.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
  • 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association.
  • Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred.
  • EPIC experience preferred.
