Binding Minds is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Denver, Colorado.

Position Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Projected Start Date: July 7, 2025

Minimum Experience Required: 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience

Compensation Package

• Weekly Gross Pay: $2,272.55 (based on 36 hours/week)
• Taxable Hourly Rate: $19.00/hr
• Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend: $2,041.55
  
  

Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery for a night shift contract. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity obstetric environment, providing quality maternal and newborn care as part of an experienced and collaborative clinical team.

Unit Description

• Unit Type: Labor & Delivery
• Capacity:
• 12 L&D beds
• 8 triage bays
• 11 antepartum beds
• Staffing Model:
• Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 12 RNs, 1–2 Techs, 1 Unit Secretary
• Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 11 RNs, 1 Tech
• Estimated Nurse-to-Patient Ratios:
• L&D: 1:2
• Triage: 1:3–4
• Antepartum: 1:4 (Patient ratios are estimates and may vary based on acuity and volume)
• EMR System: Meditech
• Equipment Used: Centricity, GE fetal monitors
  

Required Certifications

All candidates must hold the following active certifications:

• BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA)
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
• NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Experience in PACU or OR circulation
