You will deliver coordinated nursing care, supervise clinical staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a high-acuity ICU setting. Oregon RN license and BLS are required; 2+ years in acute care preferred; BSN is a plus.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice (Oregon).
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor.
• Experience: At least two years in the field; acute care experience preferred.
• Education: BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct activities of the nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Collect data, assess health status, analyze findings, and develop an intervention plan.
• Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and promote health and a safe environment.
• Evaluate progress toward outcomes; collaborate with patients, families, and the interprofessional team.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care; educate patients and families.

Requirements

• Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (Oregon) required
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field; acute care facility experience preferred
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Ability to work in a hospital/acute care setting; ICU experience is implied by the specialty
