Qualifications

• 2 Years of staff experience required in ICU settings.
• Complex ICU patient care experience preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for complex ICU patients, including surgical and trauma cases.
• Meet the care needs of patients in the ICU, monitoring vital signs.
• Work flexible hours, including 12-hour shifts, in a high-pressure environment.

AHS Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• 48 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days

2 Years Of Staff Experience Required.

MICU, CICU, TICU mixed unit.

Patient Types: Complex ICU patients ranging from surgical, medical, cardiac (preferred), neuro and trauma

Diagnoses include but are not limited to: ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, s/p cardiac cath, post-surgical, multiple system trauma heavy trauma population Cardiac experience is preferred (not required): CABG/TAVR 24 to 48 hrs post op experience is preferred but not required for travelers Will not take fresh open hearts unless they are experienced, and the facility felt comfortable with this given to permanent staff
