Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, ensuring safe and efficient patient flow
• Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
• Assess patient status, monitor changes, and respond promptly to evolving clinical conditions
• Document care accurately and communicate updates to the care team to support continuity of care
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment

Requirements

• Active registered nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of emergency department or acute care nursing experience
• Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts
