• Assess, intervene, and stabilize trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Understand general and specific health issues due to the range of medical conditions needing urgent treatment.
• Prioritize injuries based on medical need through proper triage.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
