• 1-2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience required.
• Must have a current Pennsylvania Nursing License and BLS certification.
• ACLS certification is necessary, with preferences for PALS and TNCC.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in emergency situations.
• Recognize life-threatening problems and provide treatment independently.
• Conduct admissions, triage, and discharges.

Supplemental Health Care is working with a hospital in Altoona, Pennsylvania to hire Emergency Room RNs. Emergency Department / Emergency Room RN Contract Details

• $1,476 – $1,623 per week*
• 12-week contract with possibility to extend
• NOC shift(s) available
• The Emergency Room Nurse will provide care in emergency situations with patients experiencing trauma, injury, or other conditions
• The RN will work in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to recognize life-threatening problems and provide treatment as necessary independently
• The RN will also conduct admissions, triage, and discharges

• Current Pennsylvania Nursing License
• American Heart Association BLS
• ACLS
