We are seeking dedicated and highly skilled CVICU Travel RNs to join our team. This exciting opportunity allows you to provide exceptional patient care in diverse healthcare settings nationwide while enjoying the flexibility and adventure of travel nursing.

Position : Travel Registered Nurse

Schedule : Night (3x12 Hours) 19 : 00 7 : 00

Duration : 13-Week Contract

Unit : CVIICU

What You'll Do :

The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Travel Registered Nurse (RN) will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in various healthcare settings nationwide. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in critical care and cardiovascular nursing, a strong clinical skill set, and the ability to adapt to new environments quickly.

Requirements :

  • RN license in State of Assignment or compact license
  • 2 years of experience as a traveler 3 years with no travel

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess patients’ cardiovascular status, including hemodynamic monitoring, ECG interpretation, and management of life support equipment.
  • Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosages and adherence to protocols.
  • Perform advanced nursing procedures, including central line care, ventilator management, and complex wound care.
  • Provide comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and effective patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Respond to medical emergencies, initiate appropriate interventions, and participate in code blue and rapid response teams.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with all safety and infection control protocols.

Requirements

Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Do you have your RN License in the State of Assignment or a Compact License?

Do you have a min of 2 years experience as a travel nurse or a min of 3 yrs exp. in nursing?

This is a travel RN Contract. Confirm you live at least 100 miles from the facility located in 38103
