Qualifications

• Competency in peri-procedural nursing, patient assessment, and accurate documentation.

• Provide peri-procedural nursing care for cardiac catheterization procedures, including patient assessment and monitoring.
• Maintain sterile technique, assist with equipment setup, and perform scrub or circulate duties during procedures.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions; manage sedation per protocol.
• Monitor hemodynamics, oxygenation, and vital signs before, during, and after procedures; respond to changes in patient status.
• Document accurately in the electronic health record and communicate findings with the cardiology team; ensure proper post-procedure orders and patient recovery instructions.
• Collaborate with the interventional cardiology team to optimize patient safety, comfort, and outcomes.
