Responsibilities include peri-procedural care for cardiac catheterization, sterile technique, medication administration, and hemodynamic monitoring. Must have NH RN license or ability to obtain. Dedicated support provided throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab nursing experience.
• Current, active RN license in New Hampshire or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Ability to work 8-hour day shifts on a 8x5 schedule; guaranteed 40 hours per week.
• Demonstrated peri-procedural nursing, patient assessment, and documentation competency.

Responsibilities

• Provide peri-procedural nursing care for cardiac catheterization procedures, including patient assessment and monitoring
• Maintain sterile technique, assist with equipment setup, and perform scrub or circulate duties during procedures
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions; manage sedation per protocol
• Monitor hemodynamics, oxygenation, and vital signs before, during, and after procedures; respond to changes in patient status
• Document accurately in the electronic health record and communicate findings with the cardiology team; ensure proper post-procedure orders and patient recovery instructions
• Collaborate with the interventional cardiology team to optimize patient safety, comfort, and outcomes
