Qualifications

• 3 years of RN experience with 1 year of critical care experience required.
• Certification in ACLS and PALS needed.
• Successfully pass EKG test prior to completion of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Ensure continuity in critical care and perform cardiovascular interventions.
• On-call duties include handling patient emergencies and assisting in procedures.

Job Description & Requirements

RN Hospital, Cardiac Cath Lab (2 YOE MINIMUM REQUIRED), Day Shift with On-Call Rotation (Weeknights, Weekends and Holidays) Call Frequency: 2 Nights / Week and 6 Weekends (in 13-week contract period) Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. 3 years of RN experience with 1 year of critical care experience required Cardiovascular Intervention experience required Certification and Licensure: Current IL RN licensure by the IL Dept of Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Current CPR certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and Pediatric Life Support (PALS) certification Successfully pass EKG test prior to completion of orientation National Institute Healthcare Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification Benefits: - Medicaid - Vision - Dental - 401K “We are an equal opportunity employer.
