Job Description

ARMStaffing is hiring skilled and experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurses (Cath Lab RNs) for travel and local contract opportunities nationwide. As a Cath Lab RN, you’ll play a critical role in life-saving cardiac procedures by assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations. If you're a highly trained nurse with a strong background in cardiovascular care, this is your opportunity to work in high-tech labs at top-rated hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

Assist cardiologists and interventional radiologists during catheter-based procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology studies
Monitor and document patient vitals before, during, and after procedures
Administer conscious sedation and manage patient comfort and safety
Scrub, circulate, and/or monitor as part of the Cath Lab team
Respond quickly to emergencies including arrhythmias or cardiac arrest
Maintain sterile field protocols and ensure accurate documentation in the EMR (e.g., EPIC, Cerner)

Qualifications

Active RN license (compact or state-specific)
Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience; at least 1 year in a Cath Lab or critical care setting preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and administration of IV cardiac meds
Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
