Place Services, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Refrigeration Startup Technician to be located out of the Knoxville, TN area.

Travel to customer sites across NC, AL, TN, SC and GA, and work day and night shifts to install and commission refrigeration systems. Qualifications

• High School or GED plus HVAC-R training or 2 years HVAC-R experience.
• 1+ year direct onsite service/repair of parallel rack refrigeration systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication to grow and maintain customer relationships.
• Available to work nights and/or weekends.
• Physically able to walk, bend, climb ladders, work at high elevations and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to install and set up refrigeration systems according to specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve refrigeration equipment issues; troubleshoot electrical and control system problems.
• Maintain records of installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Ensure safety regulations and quality assurance during all activities.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to coordinate timelines and objectives.
