Job summary

Electra Grid Solutions is seeking a Transmission Journeyman Lineman B to perform construction, maintenance, and repair of energized and de-energized transmission lines. The role requires advanced technical knowledge, physical endurance, and a strong commitment to safety in diverse environments.

The ideal candidate will work independently and with the team to ensure reliability and integrity of the transmission system, travel long distances, and comply with safety and PPE protocols.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level experience in transmission line installation and maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Strong safety culture and compliance with PPE protocols.
• Valid CDL Class A license; First Aid and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe construction, maintenance, and repair of energized and de-energized transmission lines.
• Set poles and anchors per safety specs.
• Operate aerial devices and climb structures for line work.
• Read blueprints and inspect equipment; maintain vehicles and tools.
