Nanny Poppins Agency in Norfolk, CT seeks a full-time rotational nanny to care for three children: a 3-year-old, a 1-year-old, and a newborn. The role is shared with a second full-time nanny on a rotating schedule, requiring strong communication and smooth handoffs.

Travel to New York City residence and international trips are common. Candidates should be experienced, calm, organized, team-oriented, and comfortable around dogs. CPR/First Aid ready, references, and valid license required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional childcare experience.
• Significant newborn and infant care experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Passport-ready and willing to travel frequently, including internationally.
• Comfortable and confident around dogs.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Adaptable, discreet, reliable, and comfortable with changing schedules.
• Must provide 3–5 professional references.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle; a family vehicle is not provided.

Responsabilités

• Provide attentive, engaging care for three young children, including a newborn.
• Manage daily routines including meals, naps, diapering, dressing, and age-appropriate structure.
• Plan and lead enriching, developmentally appropriate activities at home and in the community.
• Coordinate and attend outings, classes, playdates, and appointments as needed.
• Support newborn care during the day while keeping the older children engaged in the mornings.
• Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children.
• Maintain children's spaces, including tidying toys and play areas.
• Handle children's laundry and clean up after meals and snacks.
• Communicate clearly with the parents and the rotational nanny to ensure consistency and smooth handoffs.
• Accompany the family on travel to their New York City residence and on domestic and international trips.
• Assist with light family meal preparation if desired — a bonus, not required
