Job summary

South Texas Health System Edinburg seeks a Staff Physical Therapy Technician to assist licensed therapy staff on site under supervision. You will help with setup, transport patients, and maintain the treatment area, while supporting patients' personal needs during sessions. Some travel between facilities may be required.

Responsibilities include following the plan of care and performing assigned tasks to support efficient therapy services and department operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or higher education required.
• Clinical experience in physical rehabilitation preferred.
• Must have and maintain current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed therapy staff under onsite supervision with plan of care tasks.
• Provide equipment setup, patient transport, and treatment area maintenance.
• Assist patients with personal needs during treatment and support routine duties.
• Occasional travel between facilities as needed for services.
