Job summary

IFE NDT, LLC, a trusted provider of non-destructive testing in the oil and gas sector, seeks the Integrity Pressure Testing Operator – NDT – Permian Basin. This hands-on role performs hydrostatic, pneumatic, nitrogen, and helium leak tests on piping, skids, and testing equipment in field and shop locations, with travel across regions as needed.

Review test packages, prepare gear, set up safe work zones, collect data, and document results while following OSHA, ASME, API, and company standards.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to travel extensively for field work.
• Experience in pressure testing, oil & gas ops, or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read P&IDs and drawings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrostatic, pneumatic, nitrogen, helium leak tests per standards.
• Travel to client sites, field shops, and facilities as required.
• Review test packages and specifications prior to testing activities.
• Install and maintain testing equipment and safety devices.
• Document test data, readings, and results in real time.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, ASME, API and company safety standards.
