Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Light/Medium Duty Automotive Technician to support its Corcoran Fleet Services acquisition. The role involves preventative maintenance, light repairs, and diagnostics at customer sites across the region.

Expect travel to multiple customers and a rotating Mon-Fri / Mon-Sat schedule with a home base in the field. Qualified candidates must have a valid driver's license, be eligible for a passport, and complete company safety training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Currently possess an unexpired passport or be eligible to apply and receive one (monthly travel to Canada for 1 week).
• Participate in and complete all-in company required training.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe operating practices and procedures.
• Travel to and perform work at customer locations, mostly outside.
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections on light/medium vehicles.
• Handle routine maintenance such as oil changes and battery checks.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems.
• Document findings and parts used on Repair Orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and assist in daily end-of-day cleanup.
• Communicate with support team to obtain approvals and PO numbers.
