Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in testing, networking, or related IT fields.
• Hands-on with DoD computer and radio systems.
• Strong networking knowledge: routing, switching, VLANs, IP subnetting, LAN/WAN.
• Proficient in Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Solid grasp of automation and scripting, including Python or similar.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technical documentation, test plans and procedures.
• Design configurations to support testing and prototyping of systems.
• Develop troubleshooting guides and workarounds for system issues.
• Perform testing on systems and subsystems for reliability.
• Review specs, development plans, testing protocols, and network docs.
• Install and configure Windows and Linux servers.
• Set up core services like DNS, Exchange, and Active Directory.
• Administer virtualized environments for development and production.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain network gear; diagnose network issues.
• Capture and deploy system images for consistency.
