Job summary

Serve Electric is hiring a Level 3 Apprentice Electrician for travel to job sites across the United States, with a long-term assignment based in Iowa after an initial 2 months. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of industrial electrical experience and hands-on rigid conduit work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of verified industrial electrical experience.
• Hands-on rigid conduit experience up to 4 inches (measuring, threading, bending, running).
• Ability to troubleshoot from start to finish without complete schematics.
• Strong NEC knowledge and code compliance understanding.
• Experience with motor controls, lighting, transformers, and switchboards.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical work on industrial job sites.
• Assist with inspections to ensure quality and code compliance.
• Uphold job site safety standards (PPE, OSHA, NEC).
• Troubleshoot electrical issues from start to finish.
• Read and interpret blueprints and plans.
• Wiring of 120V, 480V, and low voltage systems.
• Work with lighting, transformers, motor controls, and switchboards.
• Size feeders and manage tooling per job.
• Communicate clearly with customers and service team.
• Attend job site meetings and help coordinate projects.
