Job summary

Richard Construction Inc. (RCI) is seeking Industrial E&I Apprentice Helpers to assist journeyman electricians and instrument fitters on construction sites. Duties include identifying tools, following safety rules, and supporting E&I tasks across projects.

Applicants should be willing to travel, possess required tools, and follow NEC and client specifications. This entry-level role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and ongoing learning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No minimum education requirements, but willingness to learn and work productively.
• TWIC
• State issued Apprentice Electrician License
• Basic arithmetic, measure, and cut to specifications
• Reliable transportation
• Full work schedule with overtime as needed
• Willing to assist other crafts and follow safety rules
• Follow company/site rules and regulations
• Must have required tools
• Team player with good communication

Responsibilities

• Identify all tools required for tasks
• Identify safety risks and precautions required to eliminate those risks
• Assist journeyman electrician or instrument fitters with E&I construction or maintenance tasks
• Learn and follow NEC, state and local regulations and client specifications
• Cleanup work areas
• Assist other crafts and perform additional duties as needed
