Job summary

Tesco Controls is seeking a Field Service Technician to lead on-site commissioning and startup activities for water and wastewater projects. The role involves commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting instrumentation and motor control cabinets, PLC cabinets, and ensuring thorough startup documentation.

Work will be primarily on client sites in the Central Coast territory, with occasional work at the Temecula office.

Qualifications

• Degree preferred or HS diploma/GED with relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety, maintenance, and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Configures parameters and troubleshoots VFDs and control systems.
• Calibrates gauges and instruments; documents failure rates.
• Start-up commissioning and testing of pump/motor controls.
• Inspects/commissions/ Calibrate instrumentation and analytical sensors.
• Troubleshoot Electrical/Control Logic and Instrumentation.
• Site installations of electrical devices and motor controls.
