Job summary

Central Transport is seeking a skilled maintenance/welding technician to support our facilities across a designated region. This role combines hands-on repairs with travel to multiple locations, performing plumbing, electrical, carpentry, welding, HVAC, and roofing tasks to keep docks and facilities operating smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years welding and general maintenance experience, is able to travel 5-10 days per trip, and can diagnose and repair a range of systems from plumbing

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of welding experience.
• 3–5 years of general maintenance repair/troubleshooting experience.
• Must be able to travel to service facilities within an assigned region.

Responsibilities

• General facility repair work including basic plumbing, electrical and HVAC skills.
• General welding for dock plates, dock bumpers, etc.
