Job summary

Morgan Corp. in Raleigh, NC is seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to perform excavation, grading, and site preparation on heavy civil construction projects.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of heavy equipment experience, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to safety. You will work outdoors in varying conditions, with overtime and weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of heavy equipment operation experience.
• Knowledge of safe and productive operation of equipment (CAT, Komatsu).
• Must be able to climb in and out of equipment unassisted.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel to other project sites in the southeastern U.S.
• Flexible schedule with overtime and weekend work when needed.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of equipment to meet production targets.
• Perform routine inspections, safety walk-arounds, and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain equipment in good operating condition and log maintenance needs.
• Complete required paperwork, reporting, and documentation.
• Comply with all company and site-specific policies and procedures.
• May perform other related duties as assigned.
