Job summary

Paramount, CA-based Door & Window Installer role seeking an experienced technician to install, maintain and repair commercial window and door systems. The position requires regular travel across California and nationwide with an installation team.

You will read shop drawings, prepare openings, install, troubleshoot, and perform field repairs. OSHA 10 certification and a valid CA driver’s license with a clean driving record are required. Monday–Friday schedule with full benefits.

Qualifications

Proven experience installing windows, doors, or curtain wall systems.
Ability to measure rough openings accurately.
Understanding of waterproofing requirements for windows/doors.
OSHA 10 certification required.
Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Receive, assemble, and install windows and doors per project specs.
Read shop drawings, installation manuals, and specs.
Measure and verify rough openings before installation.
Inspect waterproofing and identify issues impacting installation.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair windows and doors from previous projects.
Troubleshoot field installation and performance issues.
Use hand and power tools safely.
Identify and report deficiencies involving openings, waterproofing, or materials.
Collaborate with installation team, Team Leaders, and Supervisors.
Maintain a clean, safe job site.
Maintain company tools, equipment, and transportation.
Accurately record work hours, jobs, and breaks.
