Job summary

Paramount, CA-based Door & Window Installer role seeking an experienced technician to install, maintain and repair commercial window and door systems. The position requires regular travel across California and nationwide with an installation team.

You will read shop drawings, prepare openings, install, troubleshoot, and perform field repairs. OSHA 10 certification and a valid CA driver’s license with a clean driving record are required. Monday–Friday schedule with full benefits.

Qualifications

Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Door & Window Installer to install, maintain, and repair commercial window and door systems. This is a hands‑on field position for someone with proven experience installing windows, doors, or curtain wall systems who is comfortable traveling regularly throughout California and nationwide. You’ll work with an installation team while handling everything from reading shop drawings and preparing openings to installation, troubleshooting, and field repairs.

What You’ll Do

• Receive, assemble, and install windows and doors according to project specifications.
• Read and follow shop drawings, installation manuals, and written specifications.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience successfully installing windows, doors, or curtain wall systems.
• Ability to accurately measure and evaluate rough openings.
• Understanding of waterproofing requirements related to window and door installation.
• Strong mechanical and field troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read shop drawings and written specifications.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to climb ladders and safely use lifting equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Professional, dependable, and able to work effectively under pressure.
• Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Paramount, CA.
• Ability to travel regularly throughout California and out of state for extended periods.

Preferred Experience

• Commercial window and door installation.
• Curtain wall installation.
• Window and door service or repair.
• Forklift certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
