Job summary

Salute Inc. is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician to maintain in-row cooling and related data center infrastructure. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and respond to environmental and mechanical issues, collaborating with DCOs, clients, and vendors to uphold ultra-high uptime.

Expect up to 50% travel for remote site projects and hands-on commissioning across electrical and mechanical systems. A strong safety mindset and communication skills are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70E and NFPA 72; building codes.
• Ability to read diagrams and schematics for mechanical/electrical systems.
• Strong safety mindset and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 50% for remote site projects.
• Perform L2–L5 commissioning checklists and drive cost efficiency.
• Test electromechanical assemblies with multimeters.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine methods.
• Inspect equipment for defects and leaks.
• Install electrical/mechanical parts using hand tools.
• Assemble components with hand/power tools.
• Provide feedback on standards and processes.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for QA on expansions.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
