Job summary

McGough is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site field activities for complex projects. You will manage field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, while driving schedule adherence, safety, and quality through proactive leadership.

You will coordinate preconstruction and construction efforts, manage budgets and logistics, and collaborate with clients and design teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of construction-related experience.
• Current OSHA 30 certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of field staff, subs, and suppliers on active projects.
• Supervise Asst. Superintendents and evaluate weekly work plans, schedules, and logistics.
• Maintain project schedule and ensure timely updates with Project Management.
• Assist with procurement, subcontractor selection, RFI development, and trade scope reviews.
• Lead site safety initiatives and ensure quality control in partnership with QC/PM teams.
• Coordinate with clients, design teams and internal stakeholders; foster alignment.
