Job summary
ONEMESA in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Construction Operator w/CDL to support corrosion-control projects with hands-on field work and equipment operation. This full-time role requires traveling for extended periods, operating backhoes, trenchers, and forklifts, and maintaining safety and communication with the crew.
Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are provided. Typical schedule Monday through Saturday, 45–60 hours weekly, with overtime and a generous travel per diem and lodging
Qualifications
- CDL required with clean driving record.
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols.
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy materials.
- Strong communication and instruction-following skills.
- Able to travel for multi-week assignments.
- Experience operating field equipment (backhoes, trenchers, mini-excavators, augers, forklifts).
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles and equipment safely.
- Assist crews with loading/unloading materials and general labor tasks.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate deliveries and on-site support with supervisors and team members.
- Prepare site and clean up after job completion.
- Dig ditches or trenches and compact earth to grade specs.
