Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in food and nutrition or an equivalent field.
  • Dietetic internship or equivalent.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) credential within 6 months of completing the residency program.
  • Masters degree required when examination eligibility began on or after 01/01/2024.
  • Electronic medical record experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as a clinical dietitian.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Provide acute inpatient clinical dietetic care.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience with parenteral nutrition.
  • Provide care across clinical areas and function independently after completing required competencies.
  • Perform nutritional assessments, reassessments, diagnoses, interventions, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Develop nutrition plans, facilitate appropriate meal patterns, monitor nutritional intake, and provide nutritional education.
  • Evaluate patient responses to nutrition care plans and adjust interventions as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team and provide education to patients, families, dietetic interns, and other personnel.
  • Assign and supervise appropriate patient care activities within staff members job descriptions, scopes of practice, and competency levels.
