Job Summary

Xray Technologist XRAY TECH. This position provides general radiography services in a short-term acute care, Level IV trauma setting. Responsibilities include supporting emergency, outpatient, inpatient, and surgical imaging, including orthopedic, urology, and gastroenterology cases.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8:00 a.m.4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; 40 hours per week. No on-call or weekend coverage is required.
• Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience; community hospital experience; ARRT R certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; compact license in hand at submission; proficiency with general radiography, musculoskeletal imaging, portable and bedside procedures, operating room imaging, emergency department imaging, radiation safety, isolation precautions, and infection prevention.
• Additional Information:
  • Expected patient ratio is 1:1.
  • Imaging services include two imaging rooms, one fluoroscopy room, two C-arms, and two portable units.
  • Case mix includes emergency, outpatient, and inpatient imaging, with surgical cases involving urology, orthopedics, and gastroenterology.
  • Required studies include abdominal, chest, spine, extremity, trauma, and musculoskeletal imaging.
