American Traveler in Dallas is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray and diagnostic imaging with MRI/ultrasound capabilities as needed. The technologist will work under physician supervision, preparing patients and ensuring comfort throughout the procedure.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of recent experience in radiology settings
• Valid professional license or registration if required by state
• Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification recommended and may be required
• ARRT or ARDMS credentials per discipline
• Specialty-related certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Take images of patients using MRIs, ultrasounds, and X-rays to assist physicians.
• Work under physician supervision and explain procedures to patients.
• Prepare patients for tests and ensure comfort and understanding of the process.
• Operate in varied settings including hospital, outpatient clinics, health centers and medical labs.
