Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for an outpatient clinic setting in Rochester, MN. ARRT R certification and a current license are required, with 1 year of radiology experience (2 years for Rochester facilities) including general radiology, diagnostic X-ray and surgical imaging.

The role involves 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, five days, with on-call and travel to various site locations as needed. Must maintain safety standards and effective communication.

Qualifications

• ARRT R certification is required.
• BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross) required.
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• 1 year of experience in the specialty required; Rochester MN facilities require 2 years and/or 3 total travel assignments.
• General radiology, diagnostic X-ray, and surgical imaging experience required.
• Must have an active license, if applicable.
• Ability to work independently with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Competence with a variety of radiology equipment and technology.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient general radiology department within a clinic setting.
• Performs general radiology, diagnostic X-ray, and surgical imaging procedures.
• Must be flexible to work any shift including days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• 8 hour shifts, 40 hours per week, 5 days per week, 13 week assignment.
• May be required to respond to an on-call pager.
• Uses Epic for charting.
• Produces high quality diagnostic images meeting departmental standards.
• Follows safety guidelines for self, support personnel, and patients.
• Fosters teamwork through effective communication.
• Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and shift lengths.
• On-site work required with no teleworking option.
• Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment due to low census.
• Travelers may remain on assignment up to one year from the initial start date, followed by a required 30-60 day break before returning.
• COVID vaccination and booster required.
