Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Spearfish, South Dakota. The role covers MRI, CT, and general radiology with rotations, 40 hours per week, and weekend/on-call requirements.

Requires 2+ years in radiology, ARRT-MRI, ARRT-R, and independence across modalities; licensure as applicable. Travel-friendly facility with orientation and on-site parking offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years radiology experience.
• ARRT-MRI certification required.
• ARRT-R certification required for CT role.
• Eligible to sit for ARRT (R)(CT) certification.
• License as applicable.
• Independently work across modalities.
• MRI coil selection and protocol knowledge
• CT protocol and image reconstruction
• X-ray positioning and shielding
• EPIC and Sectra PACS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cover MRI, CT, and general radiology workflows.
• Operate MRI (1.5T) and CT scanners and X-ray/fluoroscopy.
• Rotate modalities according to schedule.
• Chart in EPIC and Sectra PACS.
• Perform patient screening, IV starts, and contrast dosing.
• Weekend rotation and on-call as scheduled.
• Potential float to nearby clinics.
